Does a low score mean a product is unsafe?
No. The score summarizes listed ingredient concerns and evidence rules. It cannot account for dose, exposure, individual conditions, every formulation detail, or professional medical judgment.
What data does the extension use?
When you request analysis, LabelGauge may process the product page URL, title, product identifiers, ingredient text, and related product context. Settings are stored in Chrome, and optional account sync stores selected preferences. See the full privacy policy.
Does Pro change analysis results?
No. A subscription changes feature access and authenticated usage limits, not product scores, ingredient concerns, confidence levels, or preference matches.
Can manufacturers correct product data?
Yes. Manufacturers can submit source and lab information for review. Submitted claims do not change public scores until the evidence is reviewed.
